The Harleston Cluster
The Harleston Cluster of schools brings together Archbishop Sancroft High School and its catchment primary schools: Alburgh with Denton; Harleston and Pulham.
The High school works closely with all the primary schools delivering a programme of transition for year 5 and 6 pupils. The cluster also organises events and activities to encourage families to learn together and to raise children’s aspirations. This includes taking part in a number of sporting competitions such as Tag Rugby, Cross Country and Swimming.
Laura Goodswen is our Schools Sports Co-ordinator. She organises the cluster sporting events and regular visits each primary school delivering PE sessions. She also trains year 5 pupils to become Sports Leaders so they can run activities at playtimes in their own primary schools.
The school also has two Parent Support Advisors – Chris Bishop and Gemma Leggett. They provide a confidential service offering information and advice for parents, carers and families. This can include:
Help with a Child’s behaviour
One to one support for your child
Signposting to a range of services
Advice around school matters or support in attending school meetings
Advice or support regarding issues such as bereavement or separation
A non-judgemental person to be able to talk to
And lots more………
